1. Banning the Transgender Ban
Senators Kristen Gillibrand and Susan Collins are proposing an amendment that will reverse Trump’s ban on transgender people serving in the military. This amendment will be part of the National Defense Authorization Act. Give our senators, Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken a call and let them know that if they don’t already, they should support this amendment.

2. Tax Reform
There have been whispers about what will be included in the new tax reform plan (Hint: it includes tax cuts for the ultra wealthy at the expense of the middle and lower classes) but nothing official. It seems that the GOP is divided about this much like they were for healthcare. Let’s help our members of Congress by calling them and letting them know what we want in our tax reform. While you are on the phone, let them know we want to see Trump’s tax returns as well.
