It’s the last weekend before Election Day!! What will you do to help good leaders get elected on Tuesday? If you are looking for somewhere to go, join The Power of Many in Cottage Grove to help get out the vote for our great DFL candidates. You can door knock or phone bank in good company. Young people say they plan to vote at near-historic highs
According to a poll from the Harvard University Institute of Politics, a high number of young voters could turn out in the 2018 midterm elections. The poll showed that 40 percent of 18-to 29-year olds said they will “definitely” vote in the 2018 midterm elections. This is a substantial increase from previous years. Young people nationwide are going to walk out of class on November 6th and head to the polls to vote en mass. We can promote and support this effort by using the hashtag #WalkOutToVote in our social media posts and encouraging our friends and family members to spread the word!
Pentagon: Border Migrants Aren’t A Threat
A document leaked from the Pentagon reveals that the military does not consider the migrants heading to the southern border to seek asylum a threat (no duh). Door Knock and Phone Bank
Campaigns are combining forces in a big push to Get Out The Vote. Minnesota’s DFL is coordinating door knocking and phone banking events throughout Minnesota. Sign up here for as many times as you can handle.

The Secretary of State’s website has all the information you need to get your vote on. You can figure out where to vote and even get a sample ballot so you can do your research ahead of time.
Fun Fact: Even though online registration is closed, Minnesota voters can register in person when they vote, now through November 6th. Please bring a valid ID, a bill that states your address, or a registered voter to vouch for you. Vote! Vote! Vote!
