Monday 5/13 Call to Action

Monday 5/13

Take a look at this petition, promoting fair redistricting in Minnesota:

"Common Cause Minnesota and our partners are united in demanding a redistricting process that includes all of our voices -- and gives us a seat at the table in determining our political representation.

In Minnesota, elections are supposed to reflect the will of the people, not politicians. We all want our voices to be heard in determining the future of our families and communities.

Add your name today to demand fair redistricting in our state -- sign our petition today!"

"President Trump on Friday raised tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese-made goods. Talks between American and Chinese officials in Washington ended later that day with the two sides still far apart on a number of issues. Markets in the United States fell that day then recovered some ground on the hopes that the trade war could soon end without too much disruption."

Also, Democrats are being deliberate, but moving toward impeachment.

"More Democrats are warming to the idea that beginning impeachment proceedings could be an option if it's not just about removing Trump from office. Rep. Bill Pascrell, D-N.J., said it's also a formal legal proceeding, which could strengthen Democrats' hand in securing testimony, documents and cooperation from the administration if they continue to stonewall
congressional oversight. "
