To those of you who showed up at the airport to welcome Congresswoman Omar home yesterday- thank you! She needs the support more than ever, and watching that video of you all welcoming her home is giving me hope.
We all need to be Trump’s nightmare, because the majority of us believe like Ilhan does, that “his policies are a nightmare to us.”
“At the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, more than 150 people met Omar, showing support for the Democratic congresswoman after the president told her to "go back” to the country from which she came.”
Our Congress is in session 2 more weeks and then they are off from 8/5 thru Labor Day. They need to be hearing from us loudly. Continue to demand they close the concentration camps and defund ICE.
“The SPLC and its partners filed a lawsuit and an emergency motion this week seeking to block a new Trump administration rule that categorically bars asylum for migrants who cross the southern border without applying for and being denied asylum in any country that they pass through on their way to the U.S.”
We need accountability from House Democrats.
There are so many things that Trump has done that would be considered impeachable offenses. We need impeachment hearings now.
