With the tax bill behind them, Congress will need to focus on the budget bill in order to keep the government running. The Republicans cannot pass this without the help of Democrats. We can encourage our senators to insist that clean versions of the DREAM Act and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are included

Thank you S. M. for this call to action. With the never ending tumult occurring in American politics it is easy to put your head down and shut out the world. For months now unfathomable brutalities have been happening in Myanmar against the Rohingya people.

This bill would impose sanctions on the Myanmar military to convince them to stop their campaign of genocide against the Rohingya. I think the bill could garner bipartisan support if only Majority Leader McConnell would let it come to the floor for a vote.
