Yesterday was another busy news day, despite our legislative branch being on recess.
 The Russia saga still unwinds. A story out yesterday states that Britain's GCHQ (kind of like our NSA) had been aware of suspicious activities between Trump and Russia as early as late 2015! Why was the U.S. slow to react to this information? Who knows. Read more here:

The Trump administration decided to drop "The Mother of All Bombs" in Afghanistan. Are they making sound military decisions or are they poking the hornet's nest in an effort to look tough?

Very quietly yesterday, Trump signed into law a bill that defunds Planned Parenthood. His reasoning? To stop abortions. Since Planned Parenthood arguably does more than any other institution to prevent unwanted pregnancy, one can argue that all this accomplishes is increasing unwanted pregnancies while getting rid of safe, legal abortions. Desperate people take desperate measures.

The one thing that could help solve all the other things. Releasing Donald Trump's tax returns. The American people deserve to know what strings manipulate this puppet. We need to make a lot of noise about this.
