Monday 1/21

1. Today is Martin Luther King day.  There are a number of volunteer events in the Twin Cities if you have some free time.  Some of the food shelf packing options might serve double-duty as a way to help low-income furloughed workers.

2. A video went viral of dozens of Catholic school students escalating racial tensions at an Indigineous people's rally.  Read for more information here.

3. There is a bunch of news on the collusion front this morning.  The Office of Special Counsel issued a statement that the story inaccurately characterized statements to the Office of Special Counsel.  BuzzFeed is standing by its story.

But Rudy Giuliani has indicated two things: first, Michael Cohen, Trump's then-personal attorney, discussed his testimony to Congress with Trump, and that the Trump Tower Moscow deal continued at least until the election, and that the Trump family was involved in those discussions.

4. Keep an eye on this story.  It might be the most publicly visible part of the shutdown, as it enters 30 days.  Many TSA employees are unable to report to work, due to financial limitations.
